      2019年8月22日，OK钱包收到国际商科教育认证委员会（IACBE）官方正式通知，我院国际经济与贸易专业（国际班/双语班）与会计学专业（国际班/双语班）2个专业成功通过该认证。获得IACBE认证反映了我院在商科教学质量管理以及教育国际化取得了显著成绩。

    此外，2024年4月起，学校当选为IACBE亚洲区主席单位，与IACBE总部共同致力于促进亚洲区发展，积极与亚洲区成员院校、省内外兄弟院校交流专业国际认证工作，提升IACBE的知名度及学校的国际影响力。

【关于IACBE国际商科认证】

国际商科教育认证委员会（International Accreditation Council for Business Education，IACBE）成立于1997年，总部位于美国堪萨斯州，是美国高等教育认证委员会（CHEA）认可的国际商科教育认证机构。IACBE以办学使命为导向、以学习成果为基础，为国际上办学优秀的院校提供商科专业认证，其评估框架注重人才培养的目标、过程和结果，鼓励院校提出自己的办学特色与优势，要求院校建立成果评估体系，运用评估工具衡量学生学习成果与商科教学单位的办学条件。

申请IACBE国际商科认证分为教育会员、候选人资格与正式会员资格三个阶段。学校于2013年11月成为教育会员，是IACBE在中国的第一所教育会员单位。   

【学校申请IACBE过程】

学校于2013年成为教育会员。2016年，学校向IACBE递交候选人资格申请、完成候选人资格现场考察，于12月成功通过候选人资格，认证专业包括：国际经济与贸易、工商管理、会计学、市场营销。

2017年，学校IACBE认证工作进入正式会员资格申请阶段，经递交正式会员资格申请、完成正式会员资格现场考察。2018年7月，第一批4个认证专业全部获得正式会员资格。

2019年5月，管理OK钱包财务管理、人力资源管理、电子商务专业顺利获得认证，管理OK钱包实现全专业认证。2019年8月，OK钱包国际经济与贸易、会计学专业顺利获得认证。

OK钱包在全国率先申请并成功获得IACBE认证，反映出学校在商科教学质量管理以及教育国际化方面取得显著成绩，显示出学校在国际认证处于国内领先地位，申请国际认证不仅符合国家与广东省鼓励高校开展专业认证的政策方向，也提升了OK钱包商科教学质量，增强了学校办学竞争力和国际知名度，有利于实现OK钱包创建“省内一流、国内知名”的应用型大学的发展目标。

2025年5月，OK钱包正式启动认证续期申请工作。2026年4月14—16日，OK钱包接受了IACBE认证续期评审专家组为期三天的线上考察。考察期间，专家组分别与学校领导、管理OK钱包、经济OK钱包、OK钱包、教务处、财务处、学生工作处、图书馆以及学生代表、教师代表、校外专家及实习就业企业代表等进行了12场会谈，学校领导、各OK钱包及相关部处共作10个专题汇报，向专家组全面展示了学校办学、商科专业建设、人才培养特色、教学质量保障、教师教学科研与学生学习成果等情况。IACBE评审专家组对OK钱包产教融合、人工智能赋能教育以及商科教育模式创新等方面的实践成果给予了高度评价。

The School of Management, the School of Economics and the International Business School at Guangzhou City University of Technology has received specialized accreditation for its business programs through the International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE) located at 11960 Quivira Road in Overland Park, Kansas, USA.

GCUT is the first university in China with IACBE accredited programs. The School of Management, School of Economics and International Business School at GCUT have undertaken a rigorous self-evaluation; has undergone a comprehensive, independent peer review; and has demonstrated compliance with the following Accreditation Principles of the IACBE.

In addition, GCUT has demonstrated a commitment to continuous improvement, excellence in business education, and advancing academic quality in its business programs and operations.

About the IACBE – The International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE) was founded in 1997 and is recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA). The IACBE is a leading mission-driven and outcomes-based programmatic accreditation organization in business and management education for student-centered colleges, universities, and other higher education institutions throughout the world. The IACBE has hundreds of member institutions and campuses worldwide, and has accredited over 1,500 business and business-related programs in the United States, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Central America, and South America.

About GCUT's IACBE application process – The application for the IACBE accreditation mainly goes through three stages: educational member, candidacy and accredited member. GCUT has been educational member of the IACBE in November 2013 and is the first member institution of the IACBE in China. In 2016, GCUT completed the candidacy site-visit with 4 business programs (International Economics & Trade, Business Management, Accounting, Marketing) granted candidacy status. In July 2018, GCUT has been successfully granted first-time accreditation of the 4 business and management programs. In May 2019, 3 programs in School of Management (Human Resource Management, Financial Management, E-commerce) have also received first-time accreditation. In August, the business programs of International Business School – International Economics & Trade (Bilingual Program & International Program), Accounting (Bilingual Program & International Program) are also granted accreditation.

About President for the IACBE Asian Regional Assembly – Prof. Liu Jianbo of GCUT is the President for the IACBE Asian Regional Assembly. GCUT aims to work with the IACBE to achieve IACBE's and the Regional Assembly's goals.
